Born in Istanbul in 2002, Nur began her musical journey at 12 at her hometown conservatory. In 2020, she moved to Berlin for her bachelor’s studies, performing regularly in the Pierre Boulez Saal with orchestras and chamber ensembles. Her time there sparked a deep interest in contemporary music, leading to performances with the Boulez Ensemble, an electronic solo debut, and participation in the Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra.

In 2024, Nur relocated to Amsterdam for her master’s, where she continues to explore her evolving artistic identity. Rooted in classical tradition yet drawn to jazz and improvisation, she performs in venues such as Muziekgebouw and Bimhuis.

Driven by her passion for the intersection of music and the arts, Nur is currently delving into concert curation, aiming to bring creativity and new perspectives to the classical music scene.
